Aleppo | Casualties among Turkish forces in clashes with regime forces

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a member of the Turkish-backed factions and the injury of another, in violent clashes that erupted yesterday between regime forces and Turkish-backed factions, on the frontline of Fijat Himdan village in Al-Bab countryside eastern of Aleppo.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that the Turkish forces fired heavy artillery shells on Tel Madiak and Sad Al-Shuhabaa villages in Kurdish-held areas in the northern Aleppo countryside, however no casualties were reported.
These developments came after a week of alarming calm on these frontlines.
On January 21, Reliable sources informed SOHR that two regime soldiers sustained different injures in an attack by the National Army factions with “TOW” missile on regime forces position in Al-Mayash village in Sheru neighbourhood on northwest Aleppo. The wounded soldiers have been transferred to Nubl Hospital in Aleppo countryside.
SOHR sources reported that the Turkish forces escalated ground attacks on different areas in the north and northwest Aleppo countryside where the Kurdish forces are deployed.
The Turkish forces targeted with rockets and artillery fire 15 areas that are: Tal Refaat, Kafr Nayaa, Sheikh Essa, Deir Gamal, Ain Daqnah, Kharbikah, Al-Zyarah, Aqbiyah, Ershadiyah, Al-Malikiyah, Tanab, Marenaz, Shawargha, Kafr Antoun, and Al-Alqamiyah. That attack wounded several people and caused material damage.
Those areas house regime forces and displaced people from Afrin by the Turkish military operation “Olive Branch.”
