Homs attack | ISIS members target Iranian proxies’ bus in central Syria

Syrian Observatory sources have reported that ISIS fighters have attacked a military bus carrying Iranian-backed militiamen on Al-Sawwana road in Al-Olayaniyah district in Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs, injuring several militiamen, some seriously. The injured militiamen were taken to the hospital in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Earlier this day, Unidentified gunmen attacked regime forces, while they were sleeping at regime point on the western banks of Euphrates river in Bakras Tahtani in Deir Ezzor countryside, killing four regime soldiers of “217th branch” of Military Intelligence, including a field commander, in addition to wounding others.

While on Friday morning, two bodies were found near the crossing of Jadid Bakarah town, east of Deir Ezzor.

The dead persons are two members of regime-backed “Al-Qatarji militia,” who are from Al-Bolil village where they were mysteriously killed.

It is worth mentioning that the Al-Olayaniyah area is located in the eastern countryside of Homs province, where there are some houses, which were earlier captured by Iranian-backed militias and regime forces.
