First time since withdrawal from Aleppo | Coalition helicopters land at “Kharab Ishik” base in eastern countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that two batches of helicopters affiliated to the International Coalition landed at “Kharab Ishik” base, Lafarge Company, near Al-Jibayliyah district in the east of Ain Al-Arab city “Kobani”.

It is worth noting that this is the first time for Coalition helicopters to land in that base since International Coalition Forces withdrew from that region.

According to SOHR sources, the Coalition helicopters which landed in that base were escorted by other helicopters flying over the area. Nearly two hours later, the helicopters headed from “Kharab Ishik” base to Ain Al-Arab (Kobani), amid reports of transporting ISIS members to that base.

It is worth noting that International Coalition Forces had been stationed in “Kharab Ishik” base, before they withdrew from Aleppo during the Turkish invasion, the military operation of “Peace Spring”, in late 2019.
