Syrian and foreign nationalities | Hajin Military Council arrests suicide attackers in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that the SDF-backed Hajin Military Council has arrested suicidal terrorists, some of them are foreigners who were planning to execute suicidal explosions in Deir Ezzor countryside.

Since the early hours of Saturday morning, Asayish been carrying out a large-sale security crackdown in areas in the western countryside of Darbasiya city at the Turkish border in Al-Hasakah countryside, SOHR sources said.
According to Syrian Observatory sources, Internal Security Forces have imposed a curfew in Dhahr Al-Arab village, 20 km west of Darbasiya and broke down and searched homes and some places in search of ISIS cells.
SOHR activists have added that four persons have opened fire on the members of Asayish patrol, then the forces arrested them. However, the security campaign is ongoing until this moment.
Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” carried out a wide-range security operation in Al-Raqqa province, to arrest ISIS fighters.
According to SOHR sources, the Security Forces raided with over 40 military vehicles several villages of Al-Raqqa countryside and arrested eight people, four of them were arrested in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa for possessing machineguns and grenades.
It is worth noting that the Internal Security Forces announced that they arrested an ISIS fighter, in light of combing operations for ISIS fighters.
The announcement stated that after evidence of ISIS involvement with terrorist acts was collected, ISIS fighters were arrested in an ambush. These fighters had weapons in their possessions including:
• 11 Kalashnikovs
• 8 Rifles
• 3 Grenades
• 2 Russian machineguns
• 6 military pistols
• 13 Ammunition
• 2 Military binocular
The announcement added: “During investigations, arrested ISIS fighters admitted being terrorists working to destabilize the security of the region, and they were transferred to court to be held accountable for their actions.”
The announcement concluded with: “Our forces will keep pursuing ISIS fighters and hold them accountable, along with those who support them and provide them with weapons and money, and those dividing and killing our people.”
SDF and Internal Security Forces continue their wide-range combing operations for ISIS fighters in different areas of Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqa and southern of Al-Hasakah, after the latest defeat of ISIS by ruining ISIS’ plans in Al-Hasakah’s prison.
