SOHR: “Tahrir Al-Sham” Asks Foreign Militants To Leave Idlib

Calls to continue protests in As-Suwayda…the regime is watching

A few days after the killing of the leader of ISIS, Abdullah Qardash, in the border town of Atma, north of Idlib, at the hands of the international coalition led by the American forces, the security apparatus of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham sent communications to militants of non-Syrian nationalities, stating On the necessity of evacuating the homes in which they live inside the city of Idlib.

These fighters live with their families in houses owned by members and loyalists of the regime who have left the city of Idlib, and they have now been asked to leave towards the countryside of Idlib or Latakia, so as not to be an excuse to bomb the city.

The director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdel Rahman, who reported the news, told Asharq Al-Awsat that after “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” eliminated some of the independent factions, and its hostility to the remaining extremist formations and the restriction on them, in the recent times, the Commission is now trying Exclusion or arrest of extremist groups within the commission, to show their difference from them, and to whiten their previous “extremist” image, to appear closer to the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamists in general, away from extremist ideology to convince the world of its legitimacy.

In another matter, in southern Syria, protests renewed in As-Suwayda governorate yesterday, and demonstrations spread in most areas of the governorate, denouncing the corruption of the authority and the waste of public money.

The editor-in-chief of the “Suwayda 24” network indicated that the Syrian authority is monitoring the situation and prompted some officials in the province and officers to calm the protesters and talk to them, and the security centers witnessed a military alert, and security reinforcements were provided from the police and the army stationed in government buildings near the protestors’ gathering, and some of them climbed The elements were on the roofs of government buildings, without clashing with the protesters.
