Denouncing practices by a “cadre” | Residents stage protest in west Deir Ezzor, calling for discharge of the “cadre”

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported a protest this morning staged by the residents of Muhaimidah and Al-Hesan villages in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, as the protestors set fire to rubber tyres denouncing practices by a “cadre.” Its worth noting that that “cadre” had brandished his weapons at the chairman of the economy committee, forcing him to appoint a man, a former NDF member, where the protestors called for discharging the “cadre” and holding him accountable.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a “cadre” stormed the headquarters of the economy committee which is affiliated to Deir Ezzor Civil Council in Al-Ma’amel area, where he brandished his weapon at the chairman of the economy committee, forcing him to sign the letter of appointment of a man as “an employee in the branch of supply” in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.

In this context, residents of the area protested the attack of the “cadre” and called for a protest on Wednesday against such practices.
