New assassination | Major killed at Nasib border crossing

Daraa province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a major of the regime political security service, who was responsible for Nasib border crossing between Syria and Jordan, in an attack by unidentified gunmen, where a car of the political security service was targeted near Al-Batal palace on the highway between Damascus and Daraa leading to overturning of the car which carried several people, without knowing the condition of the other people.

On the other hand, a person who was accused by civilians of “trafficking drugs” was killed in Al-Sanmin, where he was shot by unidentified gunmen, before they fled.

Accordingly the number of assassinations and targeting has risen to three during the day, where four people were killed.

Earlier today, SOHR activists documented the death of two members of the regime-backed 5th Division, in a direct attack by unidentified gunmen on the highway between Ain Zikr and Tasil towns in the western Daraa countryside.

Accordingly, the number of attacks in Daraa province since early February has risen to 40, which left 32 people: 12 civilians, one security suspect, eight individuals with settled-status, three unidentified persons and eight members of regime forces, security services and “collaborators,” dead.
