Aleppo | Turkish forces renew ground attack on position in Manbij

Aleppo province: SOHR reliable sources have reported missile attack conducted by the Turkish forces, on Tuesday, targeting Toukhar village in north-east Manbijin east Aleppo countryside. The attack also hit other places in the region. No causalities have been reported.

On February 28, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy artillery shells on areas held by the SDF-backed Manbij Military Council and regime forces, where the shells hit Al-Kokali, Lailny and Qurat villages and Al-Kokali farms in the eastern countryside of Al-Bab eastern of Aleppo, however no casualties reported.

This is the second time that Turkish forces shelled villages in the northern Aleppo countryside in same day.

Earlier in the day, SOHR activists documented the injury of a civilian in a rocket fired by Turkish forces on Al-Tukhar village, north of Manbij, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Turkish forces fired nearly seven mortar shells on Al-Tukhar village, causing property damage.

A day earlier, SOHR activists reported that a Turkish drone dropped bombs on a Tallah district in Tel Rifaat area, north of Aleppo. No casualties were reported, while a reconnaissance aircraft “made in Syria” crashed due to technical glitch in the outskirts of Tel Rifaat.
