“Retaliation” | Security suspect killed in Al-Suwaidaa countryside

Al-Suwaidaa province: SOHR sources have reported that a civilian was shot dead by unidentified assailants in front of his house in Shaqa town in Al-Suwaidaa countryside over an earlier retaliation. According to local sources, the civilian was wanted for “involving in several criminal cases.”

 

SOHR sources documented 28 murders in regime-controlled areas since early 2022, where domestic violence was behind some of these murders while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left eight children under the age of eighteen, five women over the age of eighteen and 15 men dead. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

 

• A young lady and two men in Damascus.

 

• A little girl, a little boy, an old man and a young man in Rif Dimashq.

 

• A man and two women in Tartus.

 

• Three men, a baby and a lady in Hama.

 

• A young woman, a little girl, a baby and five young men in Al-Suwaidaa.

 

• A man in Deir Ezzor.

 

• A baby in Aleppo.

 

• A man and child with special needs in Daraa.

 

• A little girl in Homs.
