Deir Ezzor | Residents protest against the arrest of civilians by SDF in front of Coalition patrol

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that a number of people have demonstrated in front of a column of International Coalition forces in Abu Hamam town in Al-Shuaitat area, east of Deir Ezzor, demanding the release of the detainees and holding accountable SDF members who attacked the people in yesterday’s raid campaign on civilians’ houses

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that an SDF patrol stormed Abu Hamam town in eastern Deir Ezzor, after blocking all entrances of the town. The patrol’s members stormed the houses of people who had clashes with a patrol of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) last week, which led to the death of an Asayish member at that time. During the security campaign, the patrol members and some suspects traded fire, before the house of one of the suspects was set on fire while others were arrested.
