SOHR: Damascus forces bomb Idlib and Latakia countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that, after midnight yesterday and dawn today, Damascus government forces bombed the southern countryside of Idlib and northern Latakia with more than 25 rocket and artillery shells, in conjunction with intense hovering of Russian reconnaissance.

The Syrian Observatory said that it monitored, within the so-called “De-escalation” zone, according to the Russian-Turkish agreement, missile shelling carried out by Damascus government forces after midnight Monday-Tuesday and early today, targeting areas in the southern countryside of Idlib and northern Latakia.

The Syrian Observatory indicated that for three days, the so-called “De-escalation” zones have witnessed mutual targeting between the forces of the Damascus government on the one hand and the mercenary groups affiliated with the Turkish occupation on the other.
