Security chaos in “Olive branch” areas | Three young men kidnapped in Afrin city in hours

Aleppo province: Areas under the control of Turkish forces and factions loyal to them in “Olive branch” areas northwest of Aleppo are witnessing ongoing security chaos and rampant abductions of civilians amid the inability of Turkish-backed factions to protect civilians.

In this context, Syrian Observatory activists have reported that yesterday, unidentified gunmen abducted two young men from Jendris district in Afrin countryside as they were heading from Jendris, while they were on their way to Sarmada city in the northern Idlib countryside. The fate of the victims remains unknown.

On March 7, unidentified gunmen kidnapped a young man from Eastern Ghouta in Rif Dimashq when he left his home en route to Afrin city centre. The young man’s fate remains unknown.
