Aleppo security chaos | Asayish Forces shoot two members of Fourth Division

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of two members of the regime-backed Fourth Division in gunfire by Asayish Forces, while they were trying to confiscate sugar. Meanwhile, the regime forces closed the roads between Al-Sheikh Maksod and Al-Ashrafiyah and closed Manbij highway.

According to reliable SOHR sources, a truck driver refused to let his vehicle be confiscated by members of the Fourth Division stationed at Al-Jazira checkpoint, on the outskirts of Al-Sheikh Maksod in Aleppo, where the checkpoint members opened fire on his vehicle.

On the same context, Asayish members responded by shooting back at the checkpoint members, injuring two.

It is worth noting that the roads were reopened after being closed for hours after SDF’s Military Affairs Committee interfered.

On March 5, SOHR activists reported that members stationed at a joint checkpoint of Al-Baqir Brigade and State Security arrested an undergraduate student from Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in Aleppo on March 1, on charges of “receiving a remittance from illegal offices and possessing 300,000 Syrian liras. This “offence” was sanctioned by the Syrian regime to one to three months in prison and confiscating all the amount the “criminal” possesses.

While on 26 February, members stationed at a checkpoint of Security service at the entrance to Al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighbourhood arrested a woman from Kafr Safra village in Jendires district on charges of “possessing an unauthorised cell phone. The woman was taken to an unknown destination.
