Fearing protests on anniversary of Syrian revolution | Regime forces bring in military reinforcements to Daraa

SOHR activists have reported seeing new military reinforcements of regime forces arrive in Daraa province, south of Syria. These forces have been stationed in the old customs, silos, the municipal stadium and areas in Daraa Al-Balad and Al-Mahatah.

These reinforcements by regime forces coincide with the 11th anniversary of the Syrian revolution and the calling for demonstration by activists in Daraa.

It is worth noting that, despite the security grip of regime, Daraa province has witnessed protests over the past years every year on the anniversary of the outbreak of the Syrian revolution on March 15, which was sparked in Daraa province on March 18, 2011.
