Cease-fire violation | Regime forces target areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah amid flights by reconnaissance aircraft

SOHR activists have reported seeing the ongoing flight by reconnaissance aircraft over Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib and Jabal Al-AKrad in the northern countryside of Latakia. While in the early hours of Wednesday morning, regime forces have bombarded areas in Fulayfil and Baynnin Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties have been reported.

It is worth noting that a caution calm pervades the region.

On March 15, SOHR activists reported that a Russian warplane bombarded the vicinity of Shinan town, which hosts a Turkish military checkpoint southern of Jabal Al-Arba’aen in the southern Idlib countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the warplane launched two missiles that blew up in the sky on residential areas, where shrapnel scattered in the area, however, no casualties were reported.

This comes after the absence of bombardment by Russian warplanes on “Putin-Erdogan” area for 36 days, with the last Russian airstrike was documented by SOHR activists on February 6.
