Children casualties | Landmine explosion of war remnants leaves five injuries in Aleppo and Homs

SOHR activists have documented the injury of two children and their father, who are displaced from Afrin, due to explosion of an old landmine of war remnants in Babnis village in the northern Aleppo countryside.

On the other hand, two other children were injured, due to the explosion of an old landmine in Ezz Al-Dein area near Talbisa village in the northern Homs countryside.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 58 civilians, including two women and 27 children, due to explosions of landmines and unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 69 civilians, including two women and 46 children, sustained various injuries in the same period.
