Syrian-Jordanian-Iraqi junction | “International Coalition” helicopters land in Al-Tanf base

 

SOHR activists have reported that “International Coalition” helicopters have landed in Al-Tanf base near the Jordanian-Iraqi-Syrian junction, where they set off from Al-Da’am base in Jordanian territory in 22nd tower and landed in Al-Tanf base, before returning to 22nd tower in Jordan. The reasons remained unknown.

On March 4, SOHR sources reported seeing a column of the International Coalition of five trucks carrying logistical supplies, en route to Al-Tanf military base, in the 55-kilometer Zone at the east border of Syria with Jordan and Iraq. The convoy came from Jordan via Taha crossing.
Meanwhile, SOHR activists reported that Maghaweer Al-Thawrah” faction deployed more reinforcements in the 55-kilometre zone at night.
On February 17, SOHR reliable sources reported that the US forces and their backed “Maghaweer Al-Thawrah” faction conducted joint military exercises in the 55-kilometre zone in the vicinity of Al-Tanaf base in the Syrian desert on the Syria-Iraq-Jordan border triangle.
