Iranian-backed militias close two schools and arrest six teachers in Al-Bokamal city

SOHR sources have reported that Iranian-backed militias in Al-Bokamal city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, on the Syria-Iraq border, have closed down “Al-Zahraa and Al-Mothaqafin” schools, arresting six teachers for “communicating with relatives in areas controlled by SDF and giving them information on the positions of Iranian-backed militias in Al-Bokamal city.”

On March 20, SOHR activists reported that members of Osour Al-Sharqiyah faction, which is affiliated with regime forces, beat a young man working as a barber that morning in Sabikhan city in Deir Ezzor countryside and took him to an unknown destination. The reasons behind the arrest remained unknown.
