De-escalation zone | Russian jet bombards area in northern Idlib countryside while reconnaissance aircraft hover over

SOHR activists have reported that a Russian fighter jet loaded with several thermobaric bombs has executed four airstrikes on the outskirts of Maarat Al-Naasan town in the northern Idlib countryside. This attack coincides with the overflight by Russian reconnaissance aircraft over the “De-escalation” zone.

SOHR activists have just reported that regime forces have fired several rockets on two military bases of Turkish forces in the areas of “Maklpis and Sheikh Suleiman” on the outskirts of Darat Azza in the western countryside of Aleppo, injuring two Turkish soldiers.

On March 15, SOHR activists reported that a Russian warplane bombarded the vicinity of Shinan town, which hosts a Turkish military checkpoint southern of Jabal Al-Arba’aen in the southern Idlib countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the warplane launched two missiles that blew up in the sky on residential areas, where shrapnel scattered in the area, however, no casualties were reported.
