After dismissal of Deir Ezzor Council head and anti-SDF protests | SDF storms two areas in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that military and security forces in areas held by the “Autonomous Administration” carried out campaign of arrests and raids in Al-Izba and Ma’izila areas in Deir Ezzor countryside, searching for wanted suspects who participated in the latest protests.

SDF prevented protestors, who gathered in Al-Izba area, from heading towards the headquarters of the Civil Council to protest the dismissal of the head of Deir Ezzor Civil Council and the appointment of the head of the Future Syria Party instead.

On the same context, dozens of Deir Ezzor residents gathered in front of the Civil Council in the 7th kilometer of the industrial area, protesting against the dismissal of the doctor and head of the Civil Council, and demanding free elections and raised slogans against the “cadre” which is “the military ruler of Deir Ezzor.”

SDF brought huge military force which deployed between Al-Ezba and the area of the Civil Council in the industrial area.

Moreover, SDF threatened those who coordinated the protests yesterday, to arrest or shooting in case of participating in protests and heading towards Deir Ezzor Civil Council.

It is worth noting that the head of Deir Ezzor Civil Council was dismissed, after dignitaries demanded the cancelation of the “cadre” position and provide the leadership of committees and Civil Council to the Arab Cadres.
