Escalating murders | Woman and her daughter killed by unknown assailants in SDF-controlled village in rural Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported a horrific crime in light of the ongoing escalation of murders throughout Syria, as a woman and one of her daughters were killed and another daughter sustained serious injuries after being attacked in the SDF-controlled village of Al-Hamra in Al-Ajajah area in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah. According to Observatory sources, the attackers killed the mother by hitting her on the head with a sharp tool and slaughtered the daughter with a knife, while the other daughter was stabbed also with a knife and she was taken to the hospital. However, the identities of the attackers and the motives behind committing this horrific crime remained unknown.

It is worth noting that the woman lived only with her two daughters in that village, while investigations by security services in the region have been underway.

On March 16, SOHR sources reported that four gunmen in security uniforms stormed the house of a civilian in the SDF-controlled village of Nabu’a in Al-Qamishli countryside in Al-Hasakah province, where they loot a sum of money of an estimated 21 million SYL, a mobile phone and wi-fi devices, before they left the village.
