“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces shell areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah

SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” have reported that regime forces have fired rockets in the early hours of Saturday morning on areas in Bayanin, Al-Fatirah, Fulayfel and Safouhan in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR sources in the “de-escalation zone” reported clashes with medium and heavy machineguns between opposition factions and regime forces on Marrat Al-Na’san frontlines in Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in Al-Fterah, Sfuhen, Fulayfel and Bayanin in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib in the early hours of Friday morning. However, no casualties have been reported.

On the other hand, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying over Sahl Al-Ghab, Jabal Al-Akrad and Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

On March 28, A Russian fighter jet loaded with several vacuum missiles executed four airstrikes on the outskirts of Maarat Al-Naasan town in the northern countryside of Idlib. The attack coincided with the flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over the “de-escalation zone.”

SOHR activists had reported that regime forces fired several rockets on two military bases of Turkish forces in the areas of “Maklpis and Sheikh Suleiman” on the outskirts of Darat Azza in the western countryside of Aleppo, injuring two Turkish soldiers.
