Military escalation | Turkish forces shell two villages holding Kurdish and regime forces in Aleppo

 

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that several missiles hit Al-Shawar’a and Anab villages in Shiran district in Afrin countryside, among areas holding Kurdish forces northern of Aleppo.

The missiles were fired from areas of “Olive Branch” holding Turkish forces. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

These events followed an alarming calm in the area since late March.

On March 28, SOHR activists had reported that regime forces fired several rockets on two military bases of Turkish forces in the areas of “Maklpis and Sheikh Suleiman” on the outskirts of Darat Azza in the western countryside of Aleppo, injuring two Turkish soldiers.
