Rising crime rate | Three gunmen assassinate civilian in Rif Dimashq
SOHR activists have documented the death of a civilian from Aleppo and lives in Al-Tel city in Rif Dimashq, where three young men shot him while they were stealing a motorbike. The criminals fled to an unknown destination.
The Syrian Observatory has documented 47 murders in regime-controlled areas since early 2022, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left nine children, six women, and 22 men dead. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Two little boys, one little girl, an old man, a woman, and four men in Rif Dimashq
A civilian and two women in Tartus
Three men, a baby, and a lady in Hama
A young woman, a little girl, an infant, and seven young men in Al-Suwaidaa
