“De-escalation zone” | “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” and regime forces trade fire in Sahl Al-Ghab, amid regime bombard on Jabal Al-Zawiyah

SORH sources have reported frequent flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over Jabal Al-Zawiyah, Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal Al-Akrad in the “de-escalation zone,” amid rocket fire by regime forces on Sfuhen, Al-Bara, Al-Fterah, Bayanin and Fulayfel in southern Idlib.

 

On the other hand, frontlines of Al-Amqiyah and Al-Mashari’ in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-west of Hama experienced exchange of rocket and heavy machinegun fire between regime forces and factions of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

SOHR activists have just reported that at least one regime soldier was killed and four others were injured in a suicidal attack by a jihadist group member on a regime position in Al-Sarmaniyah frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama countryside on Friday evening.

 

On April 15, SOHR activists reported that a jihadist of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction attacked a regime position on Al-Sirmaniyah frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab area in the north-western Hama countryside, where the jihadist blew himself up inside the post. However, no further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the attack.
