Military escalation | Turkish forces shell Russian base and six villages in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area in Ras Al-Ain “Sere Kanye” countryside, have fired heavy artillery shells and missiles on civilians’ houses in Qobor Al-Karajna and Al-Shaikh Ali villages and Al-Zaiban farm in Abo Rasen “Zarkan” countryside north western of Al-Hasakah, amid displacement movement for the residents of the village due to extensive shelling.

Moreover, the shelling expanded to positions near the Russian base in Al-Mabaker, Assyrian Tel Shinan and Al-Dirdara in Tel Tamr countryside, amid flight of Turkish drone over the region.

SOHR activists reported that a Turkish drone targeted an “Al-Natora” Assyrian checkpoint, which is affiliated to SDF, in Tel Tawel village in Tel Tamr countryside north western of Al-Hasakah, injuring a member of Al-Natora forces and injuring a civilian leading to the amputation of his leg.
