Third round in April | Russian jets target “de-escalation zone” with four airstrikes

SOHR sources have reported that a Russian fighter jet bombarded an area between Ihsim and Al-Bara towns in Jabal Al-Zawiyah with four airstrikes. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

This round of airstrikes, which is the fourth of its kind in April 2022, comes after cessation of Russian aerial operations in the “de-escalation zone” for ten days.

 

In April 9, SOHR activists reported that a Russian fighter jet has targeted the vicinity of Al-Fatirah town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib. No casualties were reported. While a Russian reconnaissance aircraft have flown over the area.

 

On April 4, Russian fighter jets executed two airstrikes on Fulayfel town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside.
