Military escalation | Turkish bases shell six villages in Abo Rasen district in Al-Hasakah

 

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish bases have shelled six villages in Al-Hasakah countryside, where artillery shells hit Dada Abdal, Asadiyah, Om Harmala, Al-Biby, Al-Safy and Tel Ward villages in the countryside of Abo Rasen “Zarkan” district north western of Al-Hasakah. The shells were fired from Turkish bases in “Peace Spring” area.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that Turkish bases in “Peace Spring” areas fired heavy artillery shells and missiles on the Assyrian Tel Tawel village and Um Waghfa village in Tel Tamr countryside north western of Al-Hasakah. However, no casualties were reported.
Yesterday, reliable sources reported that a Turkish drone hit a military position of Assyrian forces operating under the banner of SDF-backed “Tel Tamr Military Council” in Tel Damshij village in Tel Tamr countryside, north-west of Al-Hasakah, leaving three members seriously injured.
