Fourth round in April | Russian jets bombard positions in “de-escalation zone”

SOHR sources have reported that Russian fighter jets executed over six airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone” before noon, targeting positions in Al-Ruwayha area in the southern countryside of Idlib and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama. No casualties have been reported.

 

This is the fourth round of Russian airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone” since early April.

 

On April 19, SOHR sources reported that a Russian fighter jet bombarded an area between Ihsim and Al-Bara towns in Jabal Al-Zawiyah with four airstrikes. However, no casualties were reported.

 

While on April 9, SOHR activists reported that a Russian fighter jet has targeted the vicinity of Al-Fatirah town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib. No casualties were reported. While a Russian reconnaissance aircraft have flown over the area.

 

Also, on April 4, Russian fighter jets executed two airstrikes on Fulayfel town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside.
