Turkish proxies-held areas | Tribal fighting leaves casualties, north of Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported the outbreak of armed fighting between gunmen of two tribes in Al-Rayyan camp in Turkish-backed factions controlled-Shamarin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, resulting in injuries.

On April 21, SOHR activists documented the death of a member of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah in the evening affected by the wounds he sustained when an armed person on a motorbike shot him near Sheikh Saad Cemetery in Azaz city, north of Aleppo.

A few hours earlier, SOHR activists reported that a Turkish-backed “military police” member was shot dead by “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah” gunmen in Jarablus city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo yesterday. The reason behind the murder remained unknown. Following the murder, “Military police” and “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah” brought in military reinforcement to the city, causing tension between them.
