Fleeing war for Turkey | Turkish Jandarma brutally tortures father of four to death

Since early 2022, Turkish Jandarma killed 11 Syrians on its border, including three children

As the Turkish government deports dozens of Syrians from its territory, in the wake of the political crisis over the refugee issue and the escalation of hate speech and racism against Syrians, Turkish border guards continue to kill Syrians fleeing the scourge of war for Turkey.

The latest of these violations committed by Turkish Jandarma is the brutal torture of a young man from Hama who attempted to enter Turkish territory from the north-western countryside of Idlib on April 21, killing him and dropping his body into Syrian territory.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the 42-year-old civilian, with four children, has been tortured by a group of four members of the Turkish Jandarma resulting in his death after being severely beaten and severely tortured.

Accordingly, the number of civilians who have been killed by Turkish Border Guards (Jandarma) in several areas near and on Syria-Turkey border since early 2022 has risen to 11, including three children, while 16 other civilians were injured including three children.
