Security chaos | Young man dies of wounds sustained in attack by unidentified gunmen, north of Daraa

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that a young man died of wounds sustained yesterday in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Al-Sanamayn city in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the injury of a civilian severely, where unidentified gunmen shot him near Bilal Al-Habashy Mosque in Al-Sanamayn city in Daraa countryside.

Moreover, a child was inured while he was with his father near the attack site.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks in Daraa province has risen to 171, which left 137 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 70 civilians, including a woman and four children.

• 51 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services, and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• Nine former fighters did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• An ex-ISIS member.

• Five unidentified people.

• A Russian-backed militiaman.
