“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces fire dozens of rockets and artillery shells on positions in Aleppo and Idlib countryside

Reliable SOHR sources have reported intensive bombardment carried out by regime forces in the early hours of Friday morning on positions under the control of opposition factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in Idlib and Aleppo.

 

According to SOHR sources, regime forces targeted, with tens of rockets and artillery shells and heavy machineguns, positions on the frontlines of Kafr Nouran in the western countryside of Aleppo, Maarrat Al-Na’saan in northern Idlib, Fulayfil, Bayanin and the surrounding areas of Al-Fterah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in south Idlib countryside. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists in “Putin-Erdogan” area reported that regime forces and factions of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operation room traded heavy and medium machinegun fire on Kabbanah frontline in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia.

 

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in Fulayfil, Safuhan, Al-Fatirah and Bayanin in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. The factions also targeted regime positions in Al Barakah village in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-west Hama countryside. However, no casualties were reported.
