Second day in row | Regime heavy shelling hits positions in countryside of northern Idlib and western Aleppo

Syrian Observatory activists in de-escalation zone have reported a new round of ground shelling by regime forces and their proxies in areas controlled by Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham and factions in Idlib and Aleppo.

Regime forces have fired rockets artillery and heavy machine-guns in the northern countryside of Idlib, Kafr Nuran frontline in the western countryside of Aleppo and other areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib in the early hours of Saturday morning. No casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, Reliable SOHR sources reported intensive bombardment carried out by regime forces in the early hours of Friday morning on positions under the control of opposition factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in Idlib and Aleppo.

According to SOHR sources, regime forces targeted, with tens of rockets and artillery shells and heavy machineguns, positions on the frontlines of Kafr Nouran in the western countryside of Aleppo, Maarrat Al-Na’saan in northern Idlib, Fulayfil, Bayanin and the surrounding areas of Al-Fterah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in south Idlib countryside. However, no casualties were reported.
