Three consecutive attacks in Daraa | Two IEDs explode and regime soldier shot dead

SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen have opened fire on a regime soldier on Rakhm road – Al-Maliha Al-Gharbiyah, injuring the soldier. While, an IED has detonated by a patrol of regime forces while passing Rakhm road – Al-Maliha Al-Gharbiyah, east of Daraa. Following the IED attack, violent clashes between unidentified gunmen and regime soldiers erupted and lasted for about an hour.

These clashes have coincided with the explosion of an IED in the car of a regime soldier behind a financial building in Azra’ in Daraa countryside, killing the soldier, amid a security alert in the area.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks in Daraa province has risen to 185, which left 145 people dead; and they are as follows:
• 73 civilians, including a woman and four children.
• 54 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.
• Ten former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
• An ex-ISIS member.
• Six unidentified people.
• A Russian-backed militiaman.
