Following kidnapping of college girl | Girl’s father denies rumours confirming he was not threatened

The father of the kidnapped college girl ruled out rumours of her being kidnapped by a certain person, denying the presence of any personal issues between his family and anyone else.

According to the father, the college girl went out from her house in “Qodisyah” last Sunday for her training in “Kafr Sosa”, and still hasn’t returned yet.

Moreover, he confirmed that the family hasn’t received any threats regarding her.

These statements came from the girl’s father, after rumours of her being kidnapped in front of residents by a person affiliated to the regime’s security services.

It is worth noting that the girl is 32 years old, divorced, has two children and doesn’t have issues with her former husband.

SOHR reliable sources have reported that on April 24, a female university student of “faculty of Media” at Damascus university was kidnapped by a person who was travelling in a car with gunmen in Qudsaya city in Rif Dimashq.
According to local sources, the car with a plate reading “Tartous” had blocked the girl a week ago, in the afternoon and in full view of the people near Al-Hidayah mosque in Qudsaya city and the person got out of the car and show his weapon in the girl’s face and threaten the people do not approach, then abducted the girl and took her to unknown destination.
The abducted girl’s colleagues have said she was repeatedly threatened by someone supported by the security services. The man was trying to make a relationship with the girl, but she refused, while the fate of the girl remains unknown.
This incident comes in light of the chaos and insecurity that pervade the entire Syrian geography, in particular, in areas controlled by the Syrian regime.
