Accused of “filming military sites” | IRGC arrests two NDF members in Al-Mayadeen

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that members of the security service of the Iranian-Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have arrested two members of the National Defence Forces (NDF) in Al-Shalabi area in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor near weapons warehouses of IRGC under suspicion of “filming the warehouses and spying for enemies.”

On May 2, IRGC militiamen executed two young men from east Hama countryside at a checkpoint in Al-Tayyas village in the Syrian desert, while they were working in the village. The two young men were executed for “dealing with ISIS and providing them with information about the IRGC militias’ positions in the area in order to be attacked later by ISIS.”

In April 24, SOHR sources reported that two young herders were shot dead and their sheep were stolen in Dabsi Afnan area, west of Al-Raqqah, which is controlled by the Syrian regime and Iranian-backed militias.

According to sources, the execution was carried out by regime proxies in order to take over the sheep. The two young men aged 20 and 25 and they were from east Hama countryside. They were herding sheep for residents in Dibsi Afnan village on monthly wages.

It is worth noting that the Iraqi Hezbollah militia controls Dabsi Afnan and surrounding villages.
