IED explosion | Unidentified gunmen detonate IED in public garden in Daraa

Daraa province: SOHR activists have monitored the explosion of an IED planted by unidentified gunmen at the fountains in a public garden in Al-Sahary neighbourhood in Daraa, causing only material damages.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks in Daraa province has risen to 191, which left 148 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 75 civilians, including two women and four children.

• 55 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• Ten former fighters who did not joined any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• An ex-ISIS member.

• Six unidentified people.

• A Russian-backed militiaman.
