SOHR: Russian warplanes target ISIS sites in the Desert
During the past hours, Russian warplanes targeted ISIS mercenaries' areas in both Rasafa and Deir al-Zor deserts.
Russian warplanes renewed their air strikes on the areas of ISIS mercenaries in the desert, where during the past hours, they targeted with about 20 air raids, Rasafa desert within Raqqa and Deir al-Zor desert as well, without information about casualties so far.
The number of raids are at least 70 raids launched by Russian warplanes on areas where ISIS mercenaries have been hiding in the desert since the beginning of this month, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
On 3 of this month, SOHR had indicated that 8 members of Damascus government forces were wounded, as a result of an attack carried out by ISIS mercenary cells, which targeted the sites of Damascus forces and the groups loyal to it in Hamra area in the desert of Al-Qoriya town, east of Deir al-Zor.
