After heading to Damascus | Regime forces arrest elder from Deir Ezzor

SOHR activists have reported that security services of the regime forces have arrested an elder from Al-Mayadin city in Deir Ezzor countryside after he reached Damascus to receive medication, where they stormed his daughter’s house in Al-Dahadil neighbourhood in Damascus, arrested him and took him to an unknown destination.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the elder had underwent reconciliation during the regime’s control over the region in 2018, and his grandsons work among Iranian militias in Al-Mayadin area eastern of Deir Ezzor.

On May 4, SOHR activists reported that members of a security patrol of the regime arrested a civilian after he left Al-Rukban camp via the Syrian Red Crescent to receive medication.
According to reliable SOHR sources, members of Al-Mosalas checkpoint arrested him and his fate remained unknown.
