Old ordnance | Cluster bomb explosion kills two children in Daraa

SOHR activists have documented the death of two children, due to the explosion of a cluster bomb of war remnants in Al-Fakie’ town in northern Daraa countryside.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 96 civilians, including four women and 40 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 108 civilians, including seven women and 63 children, sustained various injuries in the same period. Among the total death toll there are a man and his son killed in the collapse of a war-damaged building in Darya city in Rif Dimashq.
