Disputes over agricultural land | Tribal infighting in Al-Hasakah leaves casualties

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have monitored armed clashes between two families in Kamrbit Kany Bivazy village in Derek (Al-Malkiyah) countryside in Al-Hasakah countryside, following disputes over an agricultural land, leaving one person killed and others injured.

On April 25, SOHR activists documented the death of eight people in clashes between two families in Abo Zuwail village in Al-Hasakah.

On the same context, clashes renewed with machineguns between members of both families near the cemetery, while they were burying the martyrs in presence of dignitaries and nobles.

It is worth noting that residents appealed to dignitaries of tribes to interfere and break the clashes in the village.
