For ransoms | Civil Police release four detainees from Ma’batly

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a patrol of the Civil Police arrested four civilians from Darkareh village in Ma’batly district in Afrin countryside on May 8, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”, and they were later released on May 12 after paying unidentified ransoms.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that members of Al-Sultan Murad Division, which controls Dirswan village in Sharan district lured a woman and her daughter from Damascus city on the pretext of smuggling them into Turkey, but the faction kidnapped them, demanding that their relatives pay a ransom.
Meanwhile, Political Security service released a man from Afrin for a ransom of 3,500 Turkish liras. The released man had been arrested on May 7 on charges of dealing with Kurdish forces and SDF.
