Death toll update | Six officers and non-commissioned officers killed in Israeli bombardment on Masyaf
SOHR activists reported that the death toll of the Israeli attack on Syria territory on Friday evening has risen to six military personnel, five of whom are officers and non-commissioned officers of Air defence forces, all of whom were killed by direct targeting of an Air Defence vehicle while they were trying to counter the Israeli bombardment on Wadi Al-Ayyun road west of Masyaf and Al-Suwaydah area south-east of Masyaf, in Hama countryside.
The death toll is expected to rise due to the presence of military and civilian casualties.
This is Israel’s 12th attack on Syrian territory since early 2022.
On April 9, Israeli missiles hit five military outposts in west Hama countryside, targeting the vicinity of the faculty of administration, scientific research centre, a military post in Al-Suwaidah village and a military post on the outskirts of Masyaf.
