IED attack | Two regime soldiers injured in west Daraa countryside

SOHR sources have reported hearing an explosion in Nawa city in the western countryside of Daraa. The explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED near the automated bread bakery in Nawa city, which injured two regime soldiers. After the explosion,

A large number of security services’ patrols were deployed in the city and along the road between Nawa and Al-Rufayd.

 

Since early 2022, the number of attacks in Daraa province has risen to 201, which left 154 people dead; and they are as follows:

 

  • 78 civilians, including two women and four children.

 

  • 58 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

 

  • Ten former fighters who did not joined any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

 

  • An ex-ISIS member.

 

  • Six unidentified people.

 

  • A Russian-backed militiaman.
