YPG and al- Sanadid Army continue to advance in the southern outskirts of the city of al- Hasakah

Al- Hasakah Province:

Clashes took place between YPG, backed by al- Sanadid Army affiliated to the governor of al- Jazirah district Hamidi Dahham al- Hadi, and IS militants around al- Ahdath prison and the electricity company on the southern countryside of the city of al- Hasakah, amid advancement for YPG in the area and information about seizing them after several days of attempts to form a ring shaped as an arc expanding from the west to the east of al-Hasakah and trapping the members of IS in the southern section of the city, and thus they retook the areas which IS had controlled within the city of al-Hasakah after the regime forces supported by NDF, members of the Republican Guards, the tribal gunmen loyal to the regime and al-Ba’ath Brigades failed to regain control over the neighborhoods of Western al-Nashwa, al-Shari’aa, Villat al-Nashwa, al-Mal’aab al-Baladi and al-Zohur, and parts of the neighborhoods of Ghwyran and al-Layleyyeh.
