SOHR: Damascus forces shell the countryside of 4 cities in “De-escalation zone”

On Sunday, areas what are so-called “De-escalation zone” are being shelled by heavy shelling of the Damascus government forces, in which the countryside of Latakia, Hama, Aleppo, Homs had been shelled.

Damascus government forces carried out missile strikes after midnight on Saturday – Sunday and at dawn today, on areas in the al-Sarmania axis in the al-Ghab Plain, northwest of Hama, in the Kabana axis in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, and other areas in the Kafr Noran and Kafr Ta’al axes in the western countryside of Aleppo, in addition to places in Fleifel, Benin and the al-Fateera area in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, without information on casualties.

Meanwhile, Russian UAVs continue to hover over the area called “De-escalation”, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

On the 12th of this month, SOHR had indicated the renewed Russian aerial bombardment on the area, as several raids targeted the vicinity of Mantef, Kafr Lata and Maar Zaf in the southern countryside of Idlib, which led to the injury of a civilian, while Russian UAVs were hovering in the airspace of Jabal al-Zawiya.

The Damascus government forces also bombed areas in the Kabanah axis in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, in conjunction with mutual targeting with heavy machine guns with the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation on the axes of the region.
