De-escalation zone | Regime officer killed by factional shelling on regime positions south of Idlib, while regime proxies bring in reinforcement to western Aleppo frontlines

SOHR activists have documented the killing of a lieutenant colonel of the regime forces in a rocket attack carried out by factions operating under the banner of “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” operations room, targetting Kafr Nabil city in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Meanwhile, SOHR sources have reported that regime-backed militias from Nubl and Al-Zahraa have pushed military reinforcements, including militemen and heavy weapons, to Miznaz, 46th Regiment, Kafr Ama, Kafr Ta’al, Taqad and Bisratoun frontlines in the western countryside of Aleppo.

Regime proxies have brought in these military reinforcements two days after a bus, carrying regime-becked shiite militants from Nubl and Al-Zahra, was hit by the opposition factions, with a guided missile at Ainjara-Qubtan Al-Jabal in the western Aleppo countryside, leaving ten regime-backed militiamen killed.

This morning, SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” reported rocket fire by regime forces in the early hours of Sunday morning, targeting positions on Al-Sarmaniyah frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama, Kabana frontline in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, the frontlines of Kafr Nuran and Kafr Taal in the western countryside of Aleppo, Fulayfel, Bayanin and the surrounding areas of Al-Fterah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties were reported. Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the “de-escalation zone.”
