Under orders of Turkish intelligence | Military Police in Afrin release activist accused of “demonizing Syrian revolution”

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that the Military Police in Afrin released a civil activist displaced from Rif Dimashq, who was arrested a week ago under orders of the Turkish intelligence.

It is worth noting that the activist was arrested on May 6, for “inciting chaos and demonizing the Syrian revolution”

On May 10, SOHR sources reported that a patrol of the military police in Afrin city arrested a displaced activist from Rif Dimashq for “circulating false information about commanders of Jaysh Al-Islam, citing strife and discrediting the Syrian Revolution with the aim of gaining fame,” according to the statement issued by the military police.

According to SOHR sources, the activist had demanded, in a video clip he posted on the Facebook account of his wife, the start of an extensive investigation with commanders of Jaysh Al-Islam on their involvement in cases related to communication with regime security services and rape of girls during the period of the faction’s control of parts of Rif Dimashq. The activist also demanded start an investigation with three commanders of Jaysh Al-Islam, including a commander known by his initials as H. Q. for “sheltering regime soldiers, treachery and threatening public security in areas controlled by Turkish forces and their proxy factions.”
