Old Ordnance | Eight Russian-backed “Liwaa Al-Quds” members injured in explosion of landmine planted earlier by ISIS near Palmyra city east of Homs

SOHR activists have reported that eight members of Russian-backed Palestinian “Liwaa Al-Quds” were injured by the explosion of a landmine planted earlier by ISIS near Awaymer mountain, north of Palmyra, in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a non-commissioned officer and the injury of another regime member in an armed attack by unidentified gunmen believed to be ISIS members, targeting a military vehicle near the checkpoint of Al-Shahmy junction near the 55-kilometre zone in the furthest area of the Syrian desert eastern of Homs.
